Living With Stacy #141 - Happy Birthday

Living With Stacy #141 – Happy Birthday

Hey there LWS comic fans, I have a new strip for you called “Happy Birthday.” It’s quite an awesome one if I do say so myself. Not only because it’s really funny, but because it is also my actual birthday. Ha! Yeah, my Saturday comic actually coincided with my real birthday. Neat, huh?

This strip is quite special as it’s Jeanie’s first real debut since her introduction. I hope you all like Jeanie as much as I do. 🙂

I also had quite the birthday party. Family and friends, BBQ, cake (gluten free of course!) and presents. Oh and some booze, ha. The night was cool and the fire was warm. It was a good time. Special thanks to my folks for arranging it.

And that’s not all! Tonight is my book signing for Volume one of Living With Stacy! If you’re around town, stop by the Natural Grind at 7:00pm this evening to snag a signed copy of the book. Hope to see you there!

If you liked this weeks kitty comic than you’ll love my other kitty comics like “figure of speech” or “stinky kitty.”

Living With Stacy #140 - Takeout

Living With Stacy #140 – Takeout

Hello again, and welcome to “Takeout” my newest LWS comic strip!  Stacy’s in the mood for good home cookin’ and she heads to the fridge to see what calls out to her. Little does she realize things are going to get smelly! Ryan tries to warn her, but she doesn’t heed his warning. And boom, she opens the fridge door and is hit with a rotten food bomb. Looks like it’s takeout tonight! 🙂

Honestly, it’s probably having takeout so often that caused all the food in the fridge to go bad. I’ve been there before. I get a nice piece of fish, put it in the fridge and think “I’m going to cook this sucker up nice and good tonight.” Then Stacy comes home, tired from work. She looks at me and holds up a pizza (gluten free). “Takeout?” Of course I’m on board. Forgetting that poor little fishy in the fridge until it goes so rotten you can’t ignore it any longer. Sigh…

But man, was that pizza ever good! Haha. Anyways, if you liked today’s LWS comic then you’ll love some of my other strips. Like this one called “Jam Packed.”

LWS Books!

In other news, my Living With Stacy books are here! I’m doing a books signing at the Natural Grind in Nova Scotia on July 28th, 7pm. If you want a book signed, then come on down!

Living with Stacy Book

Living With Stacy Books Are Here

Good news, everyone! I have received my printed books this week! And they are GLORIOUS! Haha. I’m getting custom signed books ready for all my Patrons and GoFundMe donors, plus organizing a local book signing event. If you can’t make it to the book signing (more info to come on that later) but still wanted a book, do not fret. Living With Stacy Book 01 will be available in stores near you!

What stores you ask? Well, if you live around here in good old Nova Scotia, then you can soon grab a copy at Lanes Inn, The Port Grocer, The Natural Grind, and more. As for snagging a copy online, you will be able to through my official LWS store section via paypal in the near future, as well as on Amazon.ca, Chapters Indigo, and Coles. The larger retailers will take a bit of time to get on shelves as I have not looked into the process of it yet besides getting an ISBN! Which I totally have. Oh yeah.

LWS Oh Yeah~

In all the hustle and bustle, I wasn’t able to get a full LWS comic out this week. Hopefully the comic above counts. Haha. But seriously, the books are soooo good. I mean, wait until you feel one in your hands. I hope you get a chance to do so! So that’s it for this week’s comic. Feel free to check out more LWS strips like this one called “Mario Maker.”

Peace! 🙂

Living With Stacy #139 - Anything

Living With Stacy #139 – Anything

Wow, it’s a little late, but here’s the newest LWS comic called “Anything.” Ryan can’t figure out what to draw for his latest comic. Stacy overhears his sighs and reminds him of his artist roots! The world’s your oyster! You can draw anything you want! Ryan hears her words and is motivated. “I can draw A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G…” Oh my.

Any artist or creative person can relate to days like this. Sometimes having infinite possibilities can make your brain fizzle out even more. If you find yourself on the floor covered in blank pieces of paper, it’s best to get up, exercise, get some yummy food, or go to the beach and read your favorite comics. I find doing so refreshes the creative zones in your brain. Try it sometime and remember to not get stressed.

I’ve also found that music helps too. I’m listening to some select 90s tunes right now, and I gotta say, I’m diggin’ it. 🙂 If you liked this comic then please visit my other strips like “Way Harder” and “Bon-appetit.”

In other news, my site went down for a bit, but it’s back up now! Also, my Living With Stacy books are on their way! They could be here as early as next week! I’m super excited! I can’t wait to show all you patrons and comic book lovers it! 🙂 Expect an update soon.
