Livint With Stacy #137 - Jam Packed

Living With Stacy #137 – Jam Packed

Hey there LWS comic fans, I have a new strip out this weekend called “Jam Packed.” Ryan asks Stacy if they’re an exciting couple. You know, normal, existential in your 30s stuff. Stacy assures her hubby that yes, they are an exciting couple. Just look at our calendar. It’s jam packed full of exciting things. As it turns out, it’s only jam packed with food expiration dates. It may not be exciting, but it sure is cute. πŸ™‚

Well that’s it for today’s 4 panel comic. It’s Privateer Days, so I’m going to head off to partake in the festivities. If you fancy seeing Stacy being all cute and dorky, you can check out more Living with Stacy comics like Bacon Hole or Waiter.

Oh and before I forget, I’ll be getting my test copy of the Living With Stacy book on Monday or Tuesday. I’ll be making a post about it when I take a look at it, so look forward to that soon. The GOFUNDME campaign is doing great and is almost fully funded! Check it out if you want to snag a signed copy of the book. πŸ™‚

Later gators.

Living With Stacy #136 - Stinky Kitty

Living With Stacy #136 – Stinky Kitty

Well hello again my fine LWS comic fans, I have a new strip for you called “Stinky Kitty.” As you may know the stinky kitty was in fact Ryan all along. Ryan let’s out a silent but deadly fart under the covers while Stacy reads peacefully. Little does she know that a waft of god-awful gas is headed her way. Suddenly, she coughs and gags at the stench. Panicking, Ryan blames the smell on Tori, claiming she has “farted.” And you know the age old saying “When you toot you get the boot!”

The last panel makes me laugh so much. I’m sure a lot farts get blamed on pets. How convenient, no? Those stinky little wieners. Haha. Always farting. Shame on them. πŸ™‚

Anyways, that’s it for this weeks Living with Stacy comic strip. If you like this comic then you’ll love my other hilarious ones like Figure of Speech or The Pimple Popper.

Onto other exciting news. I’m in the process of printing Volume 01 of my Living with Stacy book! Those of you who supported the project will get a book! So look forward to that! I went with a printing company in Canada and I’m excited to get the Test Copy Proof in the mail. I’ll post more about the book soon. πŸ™‚

Living With Stacy #135 - Bon Appetit

Living With Stacy #135 – Bon Appetit

Hey there LWS fans and welcome to another great Living With Stacy comic called “Bon Appetit.” Stacy craves some fine dining and Ryan has just the place in mind! MOM’S house! Nothing like good ‘ol home cooking. πŸ™‚

I thought this one up this morning and coincidentally, I’m off to eat supper at my Mom and Dad’s house right now. They’re cooking pork skewers on the BBQ. Mmm…Yum. I thought this comic was super cute and it’s the first time my mom has been in it. Well, unless you count “Movin’ On Up.”

Well, my stomach is growling, so I’m off to eat! Hope you liked this weeks comic and if you did then hit that like and share button. πŸ™‚

P.S. Oh and one more thing. I’m in the process of printing the LWS books from my GOFUNDME page. Look forward to some news on that soon.

Living With Stacy #134 - How to Get His Attention

Living With Stacy #134 – How to Get His Attention

Hey there LWS fans, I have another fine comic strip for you all this week called “How to get his Attention.” Stacy saunters over to Ryan in her slinky silk undergarments successfully breaking his video game induced trance. Her beauty and allure is unmatched. As Stacy slips off her bra and passes it to her man, he notices a message boldly written in the under-cups. “DO THE DISHES!”

That my friends is how you get his attention…to do the dishes! It works every time so follow Stacy’s step by step guide and you too will command his (or her) attention. Soon your significant other will be doing all the chores your heart desires. πŸ˜‰

This LWS comic was inspired by all the “How to get a man” or “Spice up the relationship” guidelines that you find online. Not to knock them, but I always found them limited and cringe worthy (not all of them). So I decided to do a take on those instructional comics myself, a parody if you will. Ironcially, I think it turns out that this may actually be a guide that works. Haha. I know that trick would work on me! Either way, IΒ  hope you liked it. πŸ™‚

That’s it for this weeks comic strip. Feel free to check out any of my other comics like this one called Romance Fail.

Living With Stacy #133 - The Pimple Popper

Living With Stacy #133 – The Pimple Popper

Hey there LWS fans and welcome to another new comic called “The Pimple Popper.” Ryan notices he has a big pimple in the bathroom mirror but little does he know that the pimple popper lurks in the background. If you haven’t guessed it, the culprit is none other than Stacy.

It seems to be quite the girlfriend stereotype that most of them like to pop pimples. A guilty pleasure? Perhaps. But I do see it overtly flaunted, so I think it’s more of an established badge of honor kind of thing. I know that IRL Stacy likes to pop pimples…especially mine. Must be satisfying to some weird degree.

Anyways, it is getting late (but I still made the Saturday deadline, ha!) so I’m heading off to play some Smash Bros Ultimate. Maybe if you play, I’ll see you on there. I’m MrFlapack(s) if you’re looking for a challenge. Ahem, so long as the connection is stable that is. Haha.

If you liked this weeks LWS comic then you’ll love On My Nerves. Have a good weekend. πŸ™‚

Living With Stacy #132 - Figure of Speech

Living With Stacy #132 – Figure of Speech

Hey there LWS comic fans and welcome to another new strip called “Figure of Speech.” Ryan professes his love for cooked chicken, proclaiming his love for it matches nothing else in the whole wide world. Wow, that is quite the statement. Good thing Stacy is 90% sure he’s speaking figuratively. Although, that leaves a 10% chance that it is not a figure of speech. Oh my…haha.

Today’s comic is interesting for two reasons. One, it was a fun one to create and draw, and two I literally came up with two versions of this one. I chose the one above as the definitive version, but I’ll post the other one below for anyone who is curious.

LWS Comic #132 - Alt Version

Neat huh? Not too often I do up two versions of the same strip. But hey, if I do the work and put in the time, might as well share it with you guys. If you liked this comic then you’ll love my last one, “Waiter.”

Anyways, that’s it for this weeks comic strip. Check back again for more new Living With Stacy content! Oh and for anyone who has supported me on my LWS GOFUNDME page, look forward to some news about the book soon.

Living With Stacy #131 – Way Harder

Hey there LWS comic fans and welcome to another new comic strip called “Way Harder.” In this one, Ryan attempts to draw what would be a lovely town scene on a bright sunny day. I say what would be because of Tori and Jeannie, who’s attention seeking knows no limits nor bounds, proceeds to walk all over a nearly completed artwork with inky paws in pursuit of affection. It’s sweet ad also so tragic. Maybe I can get a Wacom Cintiq and avoid such scenarios in the future.

Anyhoo, that’s it for this week’s comic. I hoped you liked “Way Harder.” Even though cats can be a pain sometimes, in the end, they’re worth it. Even if they destroy some fantastic artwork from time to time.

If you liked this week’s comic strip than you’ll love Getting Old. For all my Living With Stacy comics you can also check out the LWS Comic Archive.

Living With Stacy #130 - Waiter

Living With Stacy #130 – Waiter

Hey everyone, I have another new LWS comic strip out today called “Waiter.” Ryan and Stacy have a lovely brunch at a new local cafe. Everything was fantastic, until Stacy wanted to clean up the dirty plates and napkins. This is literally a true story. Happened just the other day. The more Stacy tried to frantically clean the more mess she made until it was impossible to do so without the help of the waiter. It was ultimately a futile attempt…a noble attempt, but futile none the less.”Oh my,” indeed. πŸ™‚

So, today’s comic came out way later than I wanted. It took all day to draw and digitize this one for whatever unknown reason. It is now 12:45am, so technically it’s Sunday morning, but hey, if you’re up late like me then you most likely still feel that Saturday night vibe. So yeah, in a way I’m not that late. We’ll go with that. Haha.

I was supposed to go to a cool folk concert tonight but alas, comics take a bit of time and Saturdays are my “draw the damn comic already” days. I’m sure some of you other artists out there can relate.

Anyhoo, I’ve been sitting too long. I need to stretch. Speaking of stretching, why not check out one of my other LWS comics that involve exercise and stretching. Later gators.

LWS Comic #129 - Getting Old

Living With Stacy #129 – Getting Old

Hey there LWS comic fans and welcome to another new strip called “Getting Old.” As you may have guessed, this comic is about getting old and with that comes all sorts of fun aches and pains. Pains that generally stick with you forever even though just months prior you were fit as a fiddle. Oh well, such is life and aging, am I right?

This LWS comic was inspired by true events. Literally, I was wondering how I was going to get a Living With Stacy comic strip out today. My arm cramped up something fierce so I was actually thinking, “Can I do a comic today?” Thankfully, I was inspired by my own body aches and pains and completed the comic you see now.

So, what about Stacy? Oh don’t worry, she’s always on the brink of a tension migraine. And if not for my arm cramps, I would have given her a fantastic massage. The best the world has ever seen. Although, I don’t know why the world would need to see it…Anyhoo, we just both wallowed in pain until she had to go to work and I had to draw. Haha. A fun Saturday if I ever knew one.

I hoped you liked this week’s LWS comic. Perhaps next week I’ll have a bit more electrolytes to counteract whatever cramping urges my body has. Until then! Peace.

Oh, and don’t forget to check out my other LWS comics like “Mattress Mayhem.”

LWS Comics #128 - On My Nerves

Living With Stacy #128 – On My Nerves

Hey there LWS comic fans, another Saturday has come and you know what that means? That’s right, I have a new comic for you today called “On My Nerves.” Has anyone been in this situation before? What to do when a timer goes off and you don’t wanna get up to go turn it off? I know, I know. Such is life. Like Ryan says in the second panel, “If only there was a way I could make it stop…..From over here.” Wouldn’t that be great? Haha.

Maybe in the future we’ll be blessed by the consumer gods with a microwave timer that is remote controlled wireless through your smart phone. And…wait…I bet that exists already. Hm, I should go check on amazon. Haha.

Anyways, I hoped you liked “On My Nerves.” I find a certain level of stubbornness to be quite humorous. And if you did too, then why not check out my other LWS comics. Perhaps this one called “Growth Spurt.”
