Living With Stacy Books Are Here

Good news, everyone! I have received my printed books this week! And they are GLORIOUS! Haha. I’m getting custom signed books ready for all my Patrons and GoFundMe donors, plus organizing a local book signing event. If you can’t make it to the book signing (more info to come on that later) but still wanted a book, do not fret. Living With Stacy Book 01 will be available in stores near you!

What stores you ask? Well, if you live around here in good old Nova Scotia, then you can soon grab a copy at Lanes Inn, The Port Grocer, The Natural Grind, and more. As for snagging a copy online, you will be able to through my official LWS store section via paypal in the near future, as well as on Amazon.ca, Chapters Indigo, and Coles. The larger retailers will take a bit of time to get on shelves as I have not looked into the process of it yet besides getting an ISBN! Which I totally have. Oh yeah.

LWS Oh Yeah~

In all the hustle and bustle, I wasn’t able to get a full LWS comic out this week. Hopefully the comic above counts. Haha. But seriously, the books are soooo good. I mean, wait until you feel one in your hands. I hope you get a chance to do so! So that’s it for this week’s comic. Feel free to check out more LWS strips like this one called “Mario Maker.”

Peace! 🙂

Living With Stacy #139 - Anything

Living With Stacy #139 – Anything

Wow, it’s a little late, but here’s the newest LWS comic called “Anything.” Ryan can’t figure out what to draw for his latest comic. Stacy overhears his sighs and reminds him of his artist roots! The world’s your oyster! You can draw anything you want! Ryan hears her words and is motivated. “I can draw A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G…” Oh my.

Any artist or creative person can relate to days like this. Sometimes having infinite possibilities can make your brain fizzle out even more. If you find yourself on the floor covered in blank pieces of paper, it’s best to get up, exercise, get some yummy food, or go to the beach and read your favorite comics. I find doing so refreshes the creative zones in your brain. Try it sometime and remember to not get stressed.

I’ve also found that music helps too. I’m listening to some select 90s tunes right now, and I gotta say, I’m diggin’ it. 🙂 If you liked this comic then please visit my other strips like “Way Harder” and “Bon-appetit.”

In other news, my site went down for a bit, but it’s back up now! Also, my Living With Stacy books are on their way! They could be here as early as next week! I’m super excited! I can’t wait to show all you patrons and comic book lovers it! 🙂 Expect an update soon.

Living With Stacy #128 - Mario Maker

Living With Stacy #138 – Mario Maker

Well hello my lovely LWS fans, I have a new comic out today called “Mario Maker.” As you may have guessed from the title, Mario Maker for the Nintendo Switch came out yesterday and I have been having a blast playing it. If you’re new to Mario Maker, then let me elaborate. You create and design your own Mario levels that span visual styles and game physics from Mario 3D World all the way back to Super Mario Bros. 1! My style of choice is Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3!

So what does this have to do with Living With Stacy? Well, I’ve been playing it so much that I almost forgot to draw today’s comic. Which funny enough, was the inspiration for the comic itself. Haha. Oh how meta I am today. I even drew a LWS style version of Mario himself contemplating a juicy question block. I’ll post it below for your enjoyment. 🙂

mario maker LWS

And that’s it for today. I wonder what I should do now that I’m finished posting this update? Hm…OH, I know! I’ll be playing more Mario Maker! Just you wait until I upload some of my expert courses! Hope to see you online. 🙂

P.S. If you liked today’s comic then you’d love my other comic themed strip called Way Harder.

Livint With Stacy #137 - Jam Packed

Living With Stacy #137 – Jam Packed

Hey there LWS comic fans, I have a new strip out this weekend called “Jam Packed.” Ryan asks Stacy if they’re an exciting couple. You know, normal, existential in your 30s stuff. Stacy assures her hubby that yes, they are an exciting couple. Just look at our calendar. It’s jam packed full of exciting things. As it turns out, it’s only jam packed with food expiration dates. It may not be exciting, but it sure is cute. 🙂

Well that’s it for today’s 4 panel comic. It’s Privateer Days, so I’m going to head off to partake in the festivities. If you fancy seeing Stacy being all cute and dorky, you can check out more Living with Stacy comics like Bacon Hole or Waiter.

Oh and before I forget, I’ll be getting my test copy of the Living With Stacy book on Monday or Tuesday. I’ll be making a post about it when I take a look at it, so look forward to that soon. The GOFUNDME campaign is doing great and is almost fully funded! Check it out if you want to snag a signed copy of the book. 🙂

Later gators.

Living With Stacy #136 - Stinky Kitty

Living With Stacy #136 – Stinky Kitty

Well hello again my fine LWS comic fans, I have a new strip for you called “Stinky Kitty.” As you may know the stinky kitty was in fact Ryan all along. Ryan let’s out a silent but deadly fart under the covers while Stacy reads peacefully. Little does she know that a waft of god-awful gas is headed her way. Suddenly, she coughs and gags at the stench. Panicking, Ryan blames the smell on Tori, claiming she has “farted.” And you know the age old saying “When you toot you get the boot!”

The last panel makes me laugh so much. I’m sure a lot farts get blamed on pets. How convenient, no? Those stinky little wieners. Haha. Always farting. Shame on them. 🙂

Anyways, that’s it for this weeks Living with Stacy comic strip. If you like this comic then you’ll love my other hilarious ones like Figure of Speech or The Pimple Popper.

Onto other exciting news. I’m in the process of printing Volume 01 of my Living with Stacy book! Those of you who supported the project will get a book! So look forward to that! I went with a printing company in Canada and I’m excited to get the Test Copy Proof in the mail. I’ll post more about the book soon. 🙂

Living With Stacy #135 - Bon Appetit

Living With Stacy #135 – Bon Appetit

Hey there LWS fans and welcome to another great Living With Stacy comic called “Bon Appetit.” Stacy craves some fine dining and Ryan has just the place in mind! MOM’S house! Nothing like good ‘ol home cooking. 🙂

I thought this one up this morning and coincidentally, I’m off to eat supper at my Mom and Dad’s house right now. They’re cooking pork skewers on the BBQ. Mmm…Yum. I thought this comic was super cute and it’s the first time my mom has been in it. Well, unless you count “Movin’ On Up.”

Well, my stomach is growling, so I’m off to eat! Hope you liked this weeks comic and if you did then hit that like and share button. 🙂

P.S. Oh and one more thing. I’m in the process of printing the LWS books from my GOFUNDME page. Look forward to some news on that soon.

Living With Stacy #134 - How to Get His Attention

Living With Stacy #134 – How to Get His Attention

Hey there LWS fans, I have another fine comic strip for you all this week called “How to get his Attention.” Stacy saunters over to Ryan in her slinky silk undergarments successfully breaking his video game induced trance. Her beauty and allure is unmatched. As Stacy slips off her bra and passes it to her man, he notices a message boldly written in the under-cups. “DO THE DISHES!”

That my friends is how you get his attention…to do the dishes! It works every time so follow Stacy’s step by step guide and you too will command his (or her) attention. Soon your significant other will be doing all the chores your heart desires. 😉

This LWS comic was inspired by all the “How to get a man” or “Spice up the relationship” guidelines that you find online. Not to knock them, but I always found them limited and cringe worthy (not all of them). So I decided to do a take on those instructional comics myself, a parody if you will. Ironcially, I think it turns out that this may actually be a guide that works. Haha. I know that trick would work on me! Either way, I  hope you liked it. 🙂

That’s it for this weeks comic strip. Feel free to check out any of my other comics like this one called Romance Fail.

Living With Stacy #133 - The Pimple Popper

Living With Stacy #133 – The Pimple Popper

Hey there LWS fans and welcome to another new comic called “The Pimple Popper.” Ryan notices he has a big pimple in the bathroom mirror but little does he know that the pimple popper lurks in the background. If you haven’t guessed it, the culprit is none other than Stacy.

It seems to be quite the girlfriend stereotype that most of them like to pop pimples. A guilty pleasure? Perhaps. But I do see it overtly flaunted, so I think it’s more of an established badge of honor kind of thing. I know that IRL Stacy likes to pop pimples…especially mine. Must be satisfying to some weird degree.

Anyways, it is getting late (but I still made the Saturday deadline, ha!) so I’m heading off to play some Smash Bros Ultimate. Maybe if you play, I’ll see you on there. I’m MrFlapack(s) if you’re looking for a challenge. Ahem, so long as the connection is stable that is. Haha.

If you liked this weeks LWS comic then you’ll love On My Nerves. Have a good weekend. 🙂

Living With Stacy #132 - Figure of Speech

Living With Stacy #132 – Figure of Speech

Hey there LWS comic fans and welcome to another new strip called “Figure of Speech.” Ryan professes his love for cooked chicken, proclaiming his love for it matches nothing else in the whole wide world. Wow, that is quite the statement. Good thing Stacy is 90% sure he’s speaking figuratively. Although, that leaves a 10% chance that it is not a figure of speech. Oh my…haha.

Today’s comic is interesting for two reasons. One, it was a fun one to create and draw, and two I literally came up with two versions of this one. I chose the one above as the definitive version, but I’ll post the other one below for anyone who is curious.

LWS Comic #132 - Alt Version

Neat huh? Not too often I do up two versions of the same strip. But hey, if I do the work and put in the time, might as well share it with you guys. If you liked this comic then you’ll love my last one, “Waiter.”

Anyways, that’s it for this weeks comic strip. Check back again for more new Living With Stacy content! Oh and for anyone who has supported me on my LWS GOFUNDME page, look forward to some news about the book soon.

Living With Stacy #131 – Way Harder

Hey there LWS comic fans and welcome to another new comic strip called “Way Harder.” In this one, Ryan attempts to draw what would be a lovely town scene on a bright sunny day. I say what would be because of Tori and Jeannie, who’s attention seeking knows no limits nor bounds, proceeds to walk all over a nearly completed artwork with inky paws in pursuit of affection. It’s sweet ad also so tragic. Maybe I can get a Wacom Cintiq and avoid such scenarios in the future.

Anyhoo, that’s it for this week’s comic. I hoped you liked “Way Harder.” Even though cats can be a pain sometimes, in the end, they’re worth it. Even if they destroy some fantastic artwork from time to time.

If you liked this week’s comic strip than you’ll love Getting Old. For all my Living With Stacy comics you can also check out the LWS Comic Archive.

LIVING WITH STACY THE COMIC

Hello, and welcome to the official Living With Stacy website! You may be wondering what this Living With Stacy comic is all about. Well allow me to shed some light on the subject. Living with Stacy is a modern, slice of life, comedy comic about the everyday routines and struggles of a happy, young couple living with OCD. Join Ryan and Stacy (and their two cats) as they attempt to comfortably coexist, love each other and push through life in hilarious and relatable ways! To quote some random awesome guy on the internet, "LWS is cute, adorable and fun for everyone, even your cats!" Wow, thanks random awesome guy!

The creator of LWS wants to show you that having OCD, or a partner with OCD isn't the end of the world. While dating someone with obsessive compulsive disorder does provide some unique (and occasionally funny) challenges, it can also be normal, loving and warm, just like any other healthy relationship. :)
