Hey, and welcome back to an all new LWS comic called Pretty Sexy! In today’s comic Stacy finds a sexy costume at the discount dollar store and shows it off for Ryan an in attempt to woo him. It’s safe to say, the costume was a hit! Just not in the way Stacy was originally thinking. Haha.

Bacon Hole! That is the name of the game in this week’s Living With Stacy comic. Ryan is having trouble coming up with some sexy content for his comic and his ever helpful spouse Stacy chimes in with an excellent suggestion. Bacon hole!
Any of you comic readers out there comic creators yourself? Then you know the difficulties involved when trying to create something spicy. Here’s a helpful quote from The Little Engine That Could that might turn up the heat in your work. It goes a little something like this:

Today’s LWS comic is called The Board Game and is a follow up to last weeks great comic, Master Procrastinator. It looks like Stacy has convinced Ryan to try out her new board game. In the name of science of course! Haha, or maybe it’s more like, in the name of good humor!

Are you a master procrastinator? By which I mean, are you a master at procrastination? Procrastinating is the name of the game in today’s LWS comic. Stacy declares to complete her artwork and by the end of the day, but instead…she designs and builds a board game with he left over junk from the closet. Haha. Now that’s a Master Procrastinator!
Let’s get real for a second though, procrastination can be detrimental to ones creative self if not properly dealt with. It can lead to putting off things from artwork and emotional issues that need working on, to literal chores or homework. It’s not good…unless you can use it to your advantage.
First we need to know why we procrastinate. Then we try and fix those issues so next time we just “Jump right in” instead of putting it off. Great! Now that my “self” is out of the way, what about other people? How it can work to your advantage is simple. Say for example your significant other won’t do chores (like the dishes!) no matter what. Well, why not offer a worse and more difficult option so when they procrastinate, the dishes seem like a cake walk in comparison. They still get the feeling of putting something off while being productive.
One can even apply this method to artwork. Pick something impossible and intimidating to do, then instead do the thing you wanted to do in the first place. By comparison, it seems a lot easier now and with less pressure. Heck, one day why not tackle that impossible thing too? Hell yeah! One step at a time. Haha.

Rhetorical definition reads as follows: Relating to or concerned with the art of rhetoric. or in layman’s terms, a question that is asked in order to produce an effect or to make a statement rather than to elicit information. In today’s LWS comic it seems Ryan doesn’t know the definition of rhetorical. Haha. Or perhaps he does, and is just so exited about his awesome estimation skills.

Also feel free to check some of my older ones if you’re new to the website. If I’m being honest, may I suggest starting with Trick or Treat. It was the first LWS comic I drew the main character Ryan without glasses and I’ve stuck with the design since! I hope you enjoy it! I know I do. Haha. Honesty is the best policy after all.

Wow, what a long time it’s been, huh? I’ve decided to continue Living With Stacy starting with the newest comic strip, “One Job.”
Ryan has one job and one job only and that is to protect a piece of glass from breaking while Stacy is out. Will he do it? What obstacles lie in the way? Only when reading my comic will the answer reveal itself. Haha. What am I saying, if you’re reading this at all, you already know what happens. Ha, silly me.

Hello, and welcome to the official Living With Stacy website! You may be wondering what this Living With Stacy comic is all about. Well allow me to shed some light on the subject. Living with Stacy is a modern, slice of life, comedy comic about the everyday routines and struggles of a happy, young couple living with OCD. Join Ryan and Stacy (and their two cats) as they attempt to comfortably coexist, love each other and push through life in hilarious and relatable ways! To quote some random awesome guy on the internet, "LWS is cute, adorable and fun for everyone, even your cats!" Wow, thanks random awesome guy!
The creator of LWS wants to show you that having OCD, or a partner with OCD isn't the end of the world. While dating someone with obsessive compulsive disorder does provide some unique (and occasionally funny) challenges, it can also be normal, loving and warm, just like any other healthy relationship. :)
Living With Stacy is now being printed in the Advance, a local newspaper from my hometown. The Advance is a faction of TC Media which publishes papers across Canada. Anywhere from Halifax, Nova Scotia right to Vancouver, BC. I'm super excited to be a part of it. Keep an eye out for LWS strips in your local newspaper and of course, please continue to enjoy the comic on my website.
