Hey LWS fans, I have a new LWS comic out today called “Precious Moments.” Animal lovers know what I’m talking about. Sometimes if you ever feel alone, your cute dog or cat will come over and pay some much needed attention to you. In those moments you can’t help but feel loved, and you just want to pick them up and give them a big hug. Or in this case, dance with your cat.
Our cat Tori loves to dance. She gets swung around, and then clings to your shoulder purring with glee. And just when your love meter is almost full, your cat let’s out a super sneeze right in your face. Haha. :p Happens to the best of us. Cats sneeze like a shotgun, boom, no time to react. But you still love them just the same. Ha.
Anyways, that’s it for this weeks comic. If you liked Precious Moments then please check out my other ones by hitting the back arrows. Have a happy weekend! 🙂
New comic up today called “Somber Thoughts.” Ha, this one is for all of you who have a lovely dark sense of humor. I often find intrusive thoughts come at any time, and humor is a good way to diffuse such compulsive thoughts.
As you may know, Stacy is off on her 6 month internship. That leaves her significant other all alone to fend for himself. That wouldn’t be so bad, if it weren’t also for the ongoing pandemic and the current lockdown. Lockdowns are hard on all of us and everyone has a different way to cope. Humor is one way. And exercise is another– if you can bring yourself to do it. Haha. For all of you in lockdown currently, stay strong, and full of energy and humor. Don’t sweat the weird or somber thoughts, that’s completely normal, but don’t dwell on them either. Have a happy lockdown everyone. 🙂
Welcome LWS fans, I have another new LWS Comic for you called “The Internship.” Stacy’s on her new journey to learn permaculture! And on her first few days there, she is…well shoveling crap. Haha. A natural farming practice. However, we see that Stacy would rather shovel Frank the Goat’s crap, than deal with people’s crap as a customer service rep at the office. A sentiment that I feel a lot of your might relate to. 😀
In other news, but related to this, I plan on doing a full series based on Stacy’s Internship. This will not be happening soon though, and will be only available (most likely) in a book format and on my Patreon. As far as the online comics are concerned, Stacy and Ryan will be back annoying and loving each other very soon. 🙂
So if you liked The Internship, you should check out all the Living with Stacy office comic strips that lead up to Stacy’s new profession! Love and peace!
Hey y’all, and welcome to the latest LWS comic strip called “A True Sagittarius.” That’s right, Stacy is in full on Sagittarius mode– First quitting her job out of the blue, and then signing up for a six month perma-culture internship without telling anyone. On top of that, she was accepted and is leaving TOMORROW! Haha. No issues there at all right? Well technically, no– as it’s all good news! What gumption, some might even say! But it is also good to let your loved ones know of such important decisions before hand. At least that’s what’s going through Ryan’s head in the last panel. Haha. :p
Anyways, A True Sagittarius and along with the Stacy at the office arc/series has been a blast to write and draw. If any of it is relatable to you, please like and share with your friends and family. Have yourselves a happy weekend! 🙂
Well here is another LWS comic for you “Out of the Blue.” Haha. Stacy arrives home from work with a sigh. “Hunny, I’m home.” Ryan smiles, “How was work?” “Great!” Stacy replies as she prances past Ryan happily. “I QUIT.” :0
Yes, Stacy after one of the worst days on the job, has pulled a Sagittarius and quit her stifling, petty, low frequency job, out of the blue. And boy does it feel good. Ryan on the other hand…hasn’t quite had the time to process such a, ahem, important decision.
Guys and gals, if you live with a Sag, be ready to be spontaneously surprised a lot of the time. Speaking of Sagittarians, I might do a series of jokes about star signs….you know all that fun meme stuff. We shall see. In any case, Stacy is ready for a new chapter of her professional career…whatever that may be. So if you liked Out of the Blue, check out my other Living With Stacy comics. Cheerio!
A smile a day keeps the blues away! Or at least, that’s insightful quip that some rando guy decided to bestow upon Stacy. Yikes. Stacy is having one rough day at the office and to get told to “smile” is not only a bit sexist (cuz let’s face it, when do gals tell guys to smile more?), but also completely unsolicited. Now on the flip-side, smiling does release endorphins, it is a proven fact. But being “told” to smile, doesn’t quite have the same impact. :p So yeah, only smile if you feel like it, please and thank you. As for Stacy, well it seems like the comment had the opposite affect. Haha. Oh my.
Anyways, that’s it for this week’s Living With Stacy comic. If you liked “A Smile a Day” then check out Stacy’s other office adventure strips.
Well hello there LWS Comic fans, I have a new strip for your called “Available.” The office adventures continue as Stacy faces her toughest challenge of the day– Customer service at the front desk. Oh joy! Most of you who’ve been in customer service can relate to these types of requests, bookings, and queries coming from a particular type of person. You know, the people that think that they’re the center of the universe, and that you should be able to read their minds? Cuz obviously their weekly personal schedule is so important that it’s common knowledge or something, like duh, of course Jimmy has soccer on Wednesdays. LOL.
So that is today’s comic. I hope it makes you laugh and seethe at the same time. 🙂 If you liked Available, then please check out all the Stacy’s Office Adventures. And also, share, like, and share some more. Happy weekend!
Heyo LWS comics fans, I have a new strip for you to enjoy today called “Enlighten Me.” Stacy emerges from the boss’s office only to find Jennifer trash talking her. Before Jenn can get out another word out, Stacy grips her shoulder and intensely whispers “Please do enlighten me, Jennifer…”
Ah my, such is office drama. Again, no offense to any “Jennifer” out there. Its fiction, only derived from reality a tiny tiny bit…Or actually, a lot…but you get what I’m saying. 🙂
Anyways, that’s it for this week’s office adventure. If you liked “Enlighten Me” then check out all my other great strips. If you’re diggin’ the office adventure arc, then you can check out the very beginning with Fare Thee Well.
Modern Day Sisyphus – LWS Comics #215 – It’s task vs task in this modern day Sisyphean nightmare! Watch as Stacy tries to do the one important thing but is drowned in an endless sea of meaningless tasks! Too bad important task, wanting to complete you so that Stacy can feel a shred of accomplishment is an exercise in futility. Oh well, I’m sure the hundreds of gym membership renewals and email typos can fill the void, deep down in her heart’s soul.
Anyways, that’s it for this week’s comic. If you liked Modern Day Sisyphus, you should check out my other comics. Lots to love. If you want to learn more about Sisyphus, Google him. He’s the Greek guy that did a bad thing and was punished to endlessly push a boulder up a mountain, only for it to roll back down just before the peak. Greek gods are fierce, yo!
Hey there LWS comic fans, I have a new strip out today called Screw You Jennifer“Life Saver.” :p Every office has a Jennifer, am I right? No offense to the Jenns out there. It’s more like a young version of a Karen, or Sheila if you’re an Ozzy fan.
So Stacy is having a long day, but doing her best to get through it by being as helpful as she can. So when a co-worker comes to her with a problem, Stacy puts her thinking cap on and…gets stuck with all the filing. Ouch! Come on Jennifer! Although if you stop to think about it, Jennifer did a kind of surprise attack, in which case one could consider her quite the tactician. Hm…food for thought. Lol.
Anyways, that’s it for this week. If you liked Life Saver, then check out all my other LWS comic strips and please, share, like, and share again. Did I mention share? Hearts!
Hello, and welcome to the official Living With Stacy website! You may be wondering what this Living With Stacy comic is all about. Well allow me to shed some light on the subject. Living with Stacy is a modern, slice of life, comedy comic about the everyday routines and struggles of a happy, young couple living with OCD. Join Ryan and Stacy (and their two cats) as they attempt to comfortably coexist, love each other and push through life in hilarious and relatable ways! To quote some random awesome guy on the internet, "LWS is cute, adorable and fun for everyone, even your cats!" Wow, thanks random awesome guy!
The creator of LWS wants to show you that having OCD, or a partner with OCD isn't the end of the world. While dating someone with obsessive compulsive disorder does provide some unique (and occasionally funny) challenges, it can also be normal, loving and warm, just like any other healthy relationship. :)
Living With Stacy is now being printed in the Advance, a local newspaper from my hometown. The Advance is a faction of TC Media which publishes papers across Canada. Anywhere from Halifax, Nova Scotia right to Vancouver, BC. I'm super excited to be a part of it. Keep an eye out for LWS strips in your local newspaper and of course, please continue to enjoy the comic on my website.
Living With Stacy, or LWS for short, updates every Saturday so come back often to lol at the latest strips! To learn more about LWS please check out the About Section. If you're interested in Flapjack Studios' other comic works you can check out Rankless the Comic and its Comic Archive.
